Goodwill YouthAdvantage is a program that offers a “hand up” to youth who are in risky situations or who are making bad choices, such as dropping out of school or developing poor peer associations. Through mentoring relationships, youth explore their options, especially as they relate to educational and career choices. Adult and peer mentors help Hamilton County youth build career plans and skills as they prepare for school graduation, post-secondary training, and the workforce by providing structured and supportive relationships. Goodwill YouthAdvantage serves youth 12 – 17 years old in Hamilton County.

Empower young people to make choices that will have lasting benefit by being a YouthAdvantage mentor. With as little as an hour a week and a year’s commitment, you can bring inspiration and hope to youth. Volunteer adult mentors must be 21 years or older to participate, and peer mentors must be 16 years.
